Chinese hardwood carving of a man with a child, c.1930’s
Hand carved out of one piece of wood showing a bearded man holding a pipe and basket. He is wearing a robe which is finely carved showing flowing details. Next to him is a small robed child. You can also see a bird standing on a rock. Well carved throughout. There is some shrinkage in places and an old repair as seen on the left shoulder.
