Showcase a bust, sculpture, or floral arrangement on this refined antique pedestal. Crafted in Northern France circa 1920, and built of pine wood, the elegant column stands on a thick plinth base. The tapered square shaft is hand-carved and richly decorated with intricate floral and foliate motifs. Each side features a central carved flower medallion, while the corners are embellished with scrolling acanthus leaves. The sturdy, aesthetic pedestal table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina with wonderful gilt accents. This versatile, useful column will add interesting, layered dimension and depth to any room of your home.
