Crafted in France circa 1860, and almost 6.5 feet tall, the rectangular mirror is set within a hand-carved giltwood frame decorated with intricate floral and foliate motifs. The upper section features a dramatic pierced pediment topped with an exuberant bouquet of roses, scrolling acanthus leaves, and asymmetrical Rococo curves, all emphasizing the opulence of the period.
