Hand painted tulips of … Read more Offering of a beautiful Fitz and Floyd large size vase, in classic 1980's pastel color pallet. Hand painted tulips of pink (it was the 80's after all!), baby blue, yellow, purple and mint green. large blooms and small buds, surrounded by elegant climbing leaves. This vase is a nice size for those larger arrangements , it measures 10" tall x 8 1/2" wide. The opening of the top is 5" wide. Still has hand painted sticker on body. On the bottom is the trademark FF, 1989, incised and a paper FF Taiwan sticker still attached. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on this piece and it is in excellent used condition. A beautiful piece on its own accord. Here is a little history of the Fitz and Floyd company: Fitz and Floyd was founded by Pat Fitzpatrick and Bob Floyd in Dallas in 1960. Initially starting as an import company, it quickly expanded into designing and creating ceramic giftware and later moved into tabletop products and accessories in the late 1960s.
