A mixed media painting with collage by the American artist Anthony Lewis Popcheff (1954-2000). This painting features an abstract composition consisting of white bursts of paint with green, orange, and yellow peeking through them and a yellow rectangle and triangle to the left of the center. The piece is unframed and unsigned with some wear to the edges of the paper.
Anthony "Tony" Lewis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
