These Types - Styles … Read more This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique American Primitive Utility Basket. Circa Late 19th Century. These Types - Styles of Baskets were Primarily Produced and Used in North Eastern American States. I Purchased this one in the Down East Coastal Maine Region. It is Completely & Substantially Hand Made - Woven out of Thick - Heavy Gauge Indigenous North American Ash Wood Splint. It also have a Very Sturdy Steam Bent Hoop Style Carry Handle. It is in All Original - Untouched as it Has Survived Over the Years Condition. The Basket Weave is in Excellent Condition with No Breaks or Missing Pieces. In Addition It has a That Wonderful Naturally Aged Color & Patina That Cannot be Duplicated. It is Strong - Sound & Perfectly Usable.

NOTE That the Bottom - Interior has Been Bolstered with a Wood Panel at Some Point in the Past to Enhance its Structural Usability. NOTE Also That The Person that Installed the Wood Panel also Added a Thick Green Felt Pad to the Base - Bottom - Underside.

It Measures Overall 13 1/2 inches Tall Including the Handle.
Basket Itself Measures 8 1/2 inches Tall.
13 inches Long.
12 3/4 inches Wide.
