in 1974 anna maria pacetti and ernesto canepa, in the premises of the former 'ceramiche minime fratelli pacetti' in corso mazzini albisola, founded the factory 'studio ernan' for the production of handmade, artistic ceramics, unique pieces and artist's multiples. Among the ceramists who collaborated with the manufactory was giovanni dova, among others. In 1975 the manufactory presented its production at the artisan fair in florence. In the 1980s the firm made some ceramics designed by architect ugo la pietra and hosted, on several occasions the japanese ceramist, painter and sculptor keizo morishita. In the 1980s/nineties walter boj made some plates for the firm in multiples numbered from 1 to 100. In 1992 he promoted the event 'ceramics 1992 ancient and new world' in which he exhibited some interesting works made by the owners. The manufactory also participates in all editions of 'rassegna 2000' held in albisola. In the late 1990s the company opened some workshops in morocco.
