1 Majestic British Fishing Angling Sporting Painting Sea Trout On Brink Nearly Hooked By The Zulu Silver Fly In Shallows By Roger McPhail 2003.
Medium watercolour & gouache on paper with front protective glass cover.
Subject sporting fish portrait of a spotted Sea Trout in side profile facing towards the left, swimming along in clear water with mouth wide open heading towards the waiting fly hook on line which is so close. Below stone pebbles along the shallow sea floor. Above the ripples of the sea surface and rays of light coming through below the water, a strong bold contrast of light & dark a great chiaroscuro effect.
Title “Sea Trout” fishing on brink nearly hooked in Shallows by Roger McPhail C2003.
Set in the original frame & mount with front glass cover which enhances this work further.
