Description of the item:
Delightful sculpture, wall plaque, in glazed and vitrified ceramic, entirely modeled and decorated by hand, depicting a stylized Madonna, extremely narrow and elongated. The sculpture is modeled and decorated entirely by hand and is signed at the bottom with the artist's initials "AM," created by Antonio Milani.
Information about the artist and/or manufacturer:
Active in Pontecchio Polesine, in the province of Rovigo, in the 1950s and 1960s, with his own small workshop, Antonio Milani produced an extremely limited number of entirely hand-modeled and decorated ceramic artworks of considerable artistic interest.
