The painting is extremely finely executed, with intense colors and generous use of gold, which gives the piece a particularly elegant appearance. The fine crackle glaze, which gives the surface a characteristic structure and depth, is also typical of Raku ceramics. Floral patterns and decorative borders at the top stylishly frame the scene and underline the craftsmanship.

The piece is in very good condition, with a beautiful patina of age. The colors appear vibrant, the golden accents are largely intact - an impressive example of Asian ceramic art at the turn of the 20th century and a decorative highlight for any collection. See less
