a highly collectable piece in sublime condition throughout, the green velvet is very regal
designed by edward barnsley, this is a much sought after stool from the coronation of king george vi in 1937 at westminster abbey guests at the coronation used these stools and were then invited to purchase them after the ceremony as souvenirs. A lovely piece of english history and by its very nature, quite rare

dimensions: height 49cm width 48cm depth 33cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
