Danish Freestanding Oak Bookcase by Henning Kjærnulf for Nyrup Møbler, 1960s.
Danish Mid-Century Modern 2 bay modular shelving system in solid and veneered light Nordic white oak. Attributed to Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf for Nyrup Møbelfabrik/EG Kvalitetsmøbler in Denmark in the 1960s.
This set consists of:
3 Uprights
1 Cabinet with double hinged doors and two shelves
1 Chest of drawers with six drawers
1 Bar cabinet with drop down door and two shelves.
3 Shelves, 1 with backplate
3 Original keys included
All elements can be placed as desired. Can be assembled without the use of tools.
Can also be used as a room divider as the back of the cabinets are finished in oak.
Ornate brass fittings.
Very good well maintained original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Drawers slides very easily. All parts have been cleaned and re-treated with soap flakes. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
