A striking and sculptural mid-20th century tole espalier wall light in the form of a lemon tree, likely Italian in origin. This whimsical piece features hand-painted green foliage and vibrant yellow lemons, with integrated working lights that bring the botanical form to life. The tree is rooted in a faux-painted half-round pot, designed to mount flush against a wall for dramatic impact.
Wear is consistent with age and use, including minor scuffs to the painted surface—most notably on the back edge of the pot—adding to its charming patina. In overall excellent vintage and working condition.
