Ingo Maurer attributed "Uchiwa" bamboo table lamp. Attached to a lucite stand.
Inspired by the Japanese uchiwa (fan), it features delicate bamboo and lacquered rice paper. Maurer’s journey to Japan allowed him to work directly with artisans who still practiced the traditional fan-making methods, resulting in a piece that showcases both craftsmanship and cultural appreciation.
