The piece is … Read more Antique c1900 Cut Glass Decanter / Wine Jug with .800 Silver Mounting by German silversmith Wilhelm Binder. The piece is Hallmarked on the mounting: Mark WTB: Germany/Schwaebisch Gmuend, manufactory Wilhelm Binder, Silver 800. The decanter has a tapering form with an elegant, smooth surface silver mounting consisting of a lid with hinge and ball knob, a spout and a handle. The decanters glass surface is decorated with engraved facet cut narrow bands and the bottom of the glass is cut with a star pattern. The decanter measures approximately 9-7/8 inches tall, 5-7/8 inches long (measured from spout to handle), and 3-1/2 inches wide (measured at glass bottom.). The decanter has light signs of use including stains inside and a tiny chip on the base. See less
