The post-WWII, finely woven (or better), primarily silk scatters and larger rugs woven in Persian styles, often in niche (prayer) or medallion layouts, in a suburb of Istanbul, Turkey. Some copies of 16th century Persian prayer rugs in local museums. Short pile, silk foundations usual. Small pieces as wall hangings. Almost all in top condition. Very expensive. See less
