Large metal copper tray overlaid with Islamic Coranic Calligraphy.
Antique oversized Islamic Mughal Style Rectangular Copper Metal Tray.
Large Moorish Mughal Raj rectangular brass and copper tray decorate with overlay brass designs in Islamic Arabic calligraphy writing.
This tray and this work is from Rajasthan Mughal India, the elaborate cast, chased and finely overlaid of very fine Koranic calligraphy writing is amazing and is in style of the Ottoman and Mameluke Islamic Persian style.
Size of the tray: is 57" x 33" x 2" deep
Handles are 11"wide x 6".
Total size with handles up 66.5" x 33".
Could be used hanging on the wall.
