The andirons are in traditional form with the hourglass body balanced on elegantly curved legs. A round cannonball shape crowns the andirons. The wrought iron andirons have a decorative hammered texture. The finish is a rustic bronze color with highlights of a more polished copper tone. Embossed on the underside are a series of numbers with “1969 R” being more legible. Perhaps this is the production year.
