Adorable vintage Italian majolica style lidded dish or box. This dish is made of ceramic and designed to look like a bunch of asparagus tied with yellow string. the green glaze has a great runny quality, and you can see where some drips have been filed down on the underside of lid and base (these are not chips). It is not marked. A wonderful piece for serving guests on your holiday table, and for displaying year-round.
Overall dimensions are 9" wide x 4-1/2" deep x 5" high.
