It includes 8 Volumes of the 9 Volume Set (1878-1880) (Antiquarian Books)! They were published by John Wiley & Sons in New York between 1878 and 1880. The series consists of "Modern Painters" (4 of the 5 Volumes included), "Stones of Venice" (3 Volumes), and "The Seven Lamps of Architecture" (1 Volume). Each book measures 9 5/8" tall and 6 1/2" wide. The set is in great overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use (no dust jackets; spines intact; wear to outside bindings and page edges; some loose detached pages that are stuck inside of books).
