A small bowl “Snake on a Tree Stump”, made by hand from copper during the Art Nouveau period.
The design is high quality in thick-walled copper. The snake and the tree trunk are crafted with great attention to detail. Accents are made of black enamel.
The hammered decoration of the bowl was used to enliven the surface and at the same time signals a craftsmanship. This was additionally polished and forms an interesting contrast to the snake and tree stump.
