Vintage: C.1970's, French, Mid-Century pair of lamps, which have the sophistication, and superfluous look, of skyscrapers, elongated, extended and curved, yet the elegance of the Hollywood Regency era, but the panache of High Style and Design,. These lamps also meet into the Post-Modern era. These are a wonderful example of French, Maison Charles, lamps are called, "Corolla," which are a Solid and heavy pair of polished bronze and polished steel combination of artistic and architectural, meets sculptural and eclectic, yet they are a transitional pair of lamps with the original metal shades, which also relate to a traditional and a transitional interior design domain, given the scope and style therein. They are a seminal and phenomenal pair of iconic lamps, from an Iconic Design House, which specialized in Lighting and decorative accessories in France. ALL original and INCLUDED. European Silke twined cording, original to the pair of lamps, as is the cording and on/off switch seen in close up image of wiring and such. They resided in Manhattan, NYC, to The Hampton's and currently in Palm Beach Island, Florida, whereupon the last image showcases them in itheir surroundings, amongst Blue Chip Art Collection.
