These hats were traditionally worn by children, particularly boys, to protect them from evil spirits and bring good fortune. Made of silk and features intricate embroidery and appliqués, with protruding eyes, and nose, and colorful floral embroidery throughout. Tiger hats symbolize bravery and strength in Chinese culture, with the tiger being known as the king of beasts. They were often worn during special occasions such as Lunar New Year celebrations and festivals.

Excellent condition, very nice embroidery details, obvious wear and discoloration, but nothing major. I can include with hat stand for display purposes.
