Limoges Style Large Hand Painted Antique Divided Dish
Early 19th century, reticulated, hand painted, and sculpted in a Rococo style. This serving dish features a handle in the center, gilded gold edges and a lovely shell shape reminiscent of the early provincial French style. Its beautiful shape and sinuous lines would enhance any table, vanity, or setting. Dish is in incredible vintage condition, porcelain is still glossy, and there doesn't appear to be any cracking or major signs of wear. The only places that appear to show minor signs of wear are on the underside where the dish rests on a surface. This item looks as though it walked straight out of the Petit Trianon, it would look so lovely overflowing with macarons of every pastel color! Thank you for looking!
