This richly textured composition depicts a stylized herd of Vicuna-like creatures in a dynamic landscape, rendered in bold geometric forms and earthy tones of amber, russet, ochre, and forest green.

ROGER VEJARANO

Roger Vejarano studied at the Superior de Bellas Artes de Lima and participated in numerous collective exhibitions; He exhibited individually in Lima (1958). Cuzco (1960) and Arequipa (1965). After exposure in Peru and Mexico, arrived in Spain, exhibited in the Province of Malaga (1971) and in the Savings Bank of the same city (1976). He had his premier exhibition in Madrid. Roger Vejarano brings us a “baroque world” with some indigenous essences, landscapes of abstract skies on which the forms stand out, inanimate by his resounding drawing and its colorful differentiations.
