The ring has a very simple setting that highlights the emerald cut shape of the stone. The stone has a fancy cut—a deeper cut than a traditional emerald cut—that has a lot more facets, and pretty reflections that pull you down into the depth of the stone. The stone is held in a cage setting, with a nice squared off band—a nice simple design that highlights the beauty of the stone.

Morganite is a barrel stone—a high quality stone in the same category as emeralds and aquamarine. It gets its soft pink color from traces of manganese.

The ring contains a natural Morganite that measures 13.75 x 11.8 x 7 mm, for a TCW of 7.85 carats. The stone is in very good condition, with some minor abrasions to the facets that are not visible to the naked eye and can only be seen under a loop.

The ring weighs 8.8 grams. The band’s width is 3.4 mm.
