The citrine is globelike, with a good depth to it and a polish that creates various optical illusions. The 18k gold band has a crossover that is a half-dome, that gives the ring a nice texture and adds even more depth to the piece. The citrine has an orange, honey color to it that is complemented by the warm patina of the gold.

Circa the 1970’s, this is a rare style of Tiffany ring. We’ve seen it with various stones, as Tiffany would alternate this stones in this between citrine, tourmaline, and tanzanite. The ring is marked on the inside with Tiffany & Co, the copyright, and 750.

The natural citrine measures 7.5 x 5.75 mm. The cabochon is 3.5 mm deep. It sits 6.5 mm above the finger. The band is 7/16” at its widest point on the face of the ring, and 1/8” at its narrowest point on the bottom. It weighs 9.8 grams.

Ring size 5.25. Minimally sizable. See less
