The table features … Read more Here is an awesome dining table from the 1950-60's that was made/designed by Johnson Industries in Illinois. The table features a heavy duty metal (steel?) pedestal table base inspired by the tulip design. It is finished in a deep charcoal color. The table top is made with a bright white laminate top surrounded by a thick, solid oak wood border that has been stained a dark ebony. The coolest part is that you can flip the top up! I also love the industrial, 50's vibe of this piece. The combination of the white, black and gray feels nostalgic, but still modern. I also appreciate how solidly built it is - you can feel the quality of the materials and see how well this table has held up!
