Pewter w/gold frame and accents.
Fits in wood bracket for display on a table.
Plaque is 7⅛" × 10⅛", when in bracket measures 8¼" × 13½". Good condition. (Note: dark marks on gold frame in photos are reflections.)
Royal Selangor plaque depicting Guan Gong (also known as Kwan Kung or Guan Yu), a revered figure in Chinese culture. He was a military general during the Han dynasty.
Guan Gong is often associated with loyalty, righteousness, courage, and integrity. As a warrior guardian, he's thought to bring protection, wealth and luck.
Founded in Malaysia by a Chinese immigrant in 1885, Royal Selangor is the world’s largest pewter manufacturer.
