This is a fantastic Mercier Freres cartonnier with a secretary desk built in for additional utility. The leather is in good condition and the drawers are also leather paneled and the case is made of solid mahogany. The piece is very unique and is signed Mercier Freres one of France's best manufacturers and the gorgeous Directoire styling is magnificent. The piece is in good condition and is missing one bail pull which we may be able to replace if asked. The piece dates to the 1890-1900 era and is French.
