This luxurious burlwood and brass dining set is an exceptional example of high-end American design. While unmarked, the set closely resembles the craftsmanship and design language of Mastercraft—a brand renowned for its use of exotic burlwood veneers, brass detailing, and timeless silhouettes.
The table features a dramatic bookmatched burlwood top framed by a darker burlwood border and set on four column-style legs with brass cladding. It measures 72 inches long and expands to a generous 112 inches with two 20-inch leaves, easily accommodating large gatherings.
This set is in excellent vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age. The wood grain is exceptionally figured, and the brass elements have developed a beautiful, subtle patina. A bold yet timeless statement in any modern, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic dining space.
Whether you're a collector or simply appreciate pieces with lasting character and presence, this set offers elegance, function, and design pedigree.
The table was part of an estate sale of luxury MCM and Hollywood Regency furniture.

The burlwood veneer displays deep, well-preserved grain with minimal wear. The brass accents show a light, even patina that enhances the vintage character without compromising the finish. The table surface is smooth and structurally sound, with no warping or major blemishes. Minor signs of age are present consistent with the 1970s–1980s production era, including faint edge wear and some natural brass aging, but nothing that detracts from the visual appeal or structural integrity. The table measures 72” in width without leaves and extends to a full 112” with two 20” insert leaves included. Depth is 44” and height is 30”. This is a well-cared-for, ready-to-use set—ideal for both daily use and design-forward interiors. less
