The Phenomen Genre 358 decoration is known from the World exhibition in Paris 1900. World exhibitions were an enormously important advertising factor for Arts & Crafts manufactories, as the audience for these events attended from all over the world. For the Loetz glassworks, it represented an important milestone in its company history.
