The … Read more Pair of antique French Charles X armchairs in elm briar and amaranth dating back to the early 19th century. The padded backrest is topped by a mixed-line cymatium with raceme and flower inlays. The two armrests have a curvilinear shape and end with a curl. The saber feet typical of the Charles X period are connected by a crosspiece with a raceme inlay in the center. P.S. Possibility of having four more identical ones not restored. General Conditions: Restored and upholstered by our master craftsmen using the traditional method. Provenance: France, early 19th century. Measurements: 55x50 H100cm.
