The bottoms are stamped with a manufacture date of July 14th, 2004, with a metal Stickley badge and a paper label for L. & J.G. Stickley. They call the leather color Raisin, and affixed to each chair base is a small sample of the leather. Stickley Furniture has been making their Cottage dining chairs since 1910 and each chair has at least 32 well-made joints; they will last the test of time.
