Möllers (denmark) dining room chair model 55 made of oak and papercord, an original danish mid-century modern 1950s vintage object.

* chair model no. 55 was designed by niels otto möller for j.l. In 1951. Möllers designed in denmark.
* first-class quality, craftsmanship, simplicity, functionality and timelessly elegant curves characterize niels otto möller's furniture/chair objects, and this is also the case with this chair model.
* the seat is covered with visually appealing and comfortable paper cord.
* the straight-lined, angular and solid frame is made of fine oak wood.
* the design language of the model 55 is particularly aesthetically beautiful; with short armrests, the chair can also be used as a desk chair.
* extremely rare no. 55 version in oak - not, as is often the case, in teak.

condition
the chair is in very well-maintained and good vintage condition with superficial and age-appropriate signs of wear on the solid wood frame and a few common patinas on the paper cord:
+ there are very few chips/notches on the wood, age and/light-related color unevenness and surface scratches.
+ the cord braid has only a few, minor surface abrasions and very few tiny stains. We find the cord weave to be in very good condition - a condition rarely found on these mid-century era chairs with paper cord seats. This piece has an attribution mark,
