Fun Italian ceramic vase, 1970s. On a turquoise background with a watercolor effect, large hand-painted daisies of different colors (white, electric blue, yellow and red) spread out. Its shape widens in the upper half and narrows towards the mouth and base. It has two large and thin handles. Its irregular finish is an example of its artisanal manufacturing. Glaze is a vitreous material that covers the ceramic and makes it waterproof. The glazes are obtained from a mixture of silica and lead, in which the lead acts as a flux. This vase will add great decorative value to any space in your home, a touch of color. At the base of the piece it reads “Italy”. See less
