This Italian Mid 20th Century Modern ottoman is considered one of the most iconic Italian designs of the era. The well constructed Italian craftsmanship makes this stool stand out above the rest. This ottoman has been reproduced throughout the years, but we guarantee that this particular piece is original from the 1960s as we purchased it directly from a single owner at a Sarasota, Florida Art Collector's Estate. Four new felt pads will be included to protect your surfaces.

VERY GOOD CONDITION. The original lacquered finish is in amazing condition considering this piece is from the 1960s. There is a piece on pencil reed missing as seen in the second to last photo and a well executed previous restoration as seen in the last photo. No missing rattan strappings, which is rare with these vintage poufs. The ottoman is structurally sound and sturdy and retains its beautiful finish.

It’s a fascinating glimpse into traditional methods of construction that blend functionality with aesthetics Can be used as a coffee table if so desired with a simple round piece of glass (Not Included)
