Award-winning silversmith, Leroy Begay was raised in Pinon, Arizona, located on the Navajo Reservation. He has been making traditional Navajo jewelry for over 30 years. Traveling extensively throughout the southwest, Begay finds inspiration for his jewelry designs in the sights he sees. Bridges, various architectural elements, rock formations, even automobiles fuel his imagination and are reflected in his work.

Using sterling silver and 14k gold, Begay designs each piece, then hammers, cuts, and solders his creations into shape. All the stones that Begay uses for inlay, as well as cabochons are natural and of the highest quality cuts. His pieces have gleaned numerous design awards including first place from the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market, two of the most prestigious shows in the southwest.
