This antique pair of planters from France have been made of cast stone and have playfully decorated sheathed exteriors which have been tiled with stone pebbles, displaying a variety of natural colors and random pattern. They each have a round-shaped top, with thick upper lip, and are raised upon rounded pedestal columns with a square-shaped platform base, which is a seamless continuation of the body of the planter itself. These vessels have a wonderfully old patina and mossy bits throughout.
