This antique table from … Read more A beautifully rustic Italian carved-wood coffee or occasional table with single drawer, from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy has a thick-cut rectangular-shaped top, which overhangs the deep apron below which houses a single double-raised panel and dovetailed-drawer at one long side, which is fitted with a hanging forged-iron pull at center. The table is raised upon four legs, with a fabulous disc-turned design, which are braced within a wood box stretcher at their ankles, and terminate into squared/block feet. This piece has a nicely aged/rustic patina throughout; a reflection of its long history and use. Note that there is some slight warping at the top of this piece. This 18th century Italian box-stretcher table with drawer will make a great occasional or coffee table, while adding a warm and casual presence to your home. See less
