A 1989 oil on canvas painting titled After Midnite by the American artist Anthony Louis Popcheff (1954-2003). This abstract work depicts a laser show on canvas, full of neon beams in shades of pink, blue, yellow, and purple. A cloud of fog dances across the bottom of the composition. This work is signed, dated, and titled verso and is unframed.
Anthony Louis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
