The secretary is walnut veneered on oak and softwood

Mass/dimensions:

Height approx. 233 cm

Maximum width / maximum width approx. 144 cm

Maximum depth approx. 73cm

Construction:

The secretary consists of three parts, upper part, middle part and lower part.

State/condition:

Good used condition with signs of wear,
partially supplemented, damaged, with missing parts, shrinkage cracks, old restored see pictures. The piece of furniture has no active worm infestation. Pictures are part of the auction.

An exceptionally elaborately crafted baroque secretary from around 1750 from Mainz. Walnut veneered and richly decorated with detailed inlays. Similar secretaries can be found in the book Contributions to the City of Mainz, Volume 14.
