For Sale is a Rare 1934 - 1937 Poole Pottery, England, Cache Pot.
This Pot was Designed by the Great Truda Carter.
The Colorful Gorgeous Flowers and Leaves in Abstract Tradition was Painted by Clarice Heath Cliff. Clarice Heath Cliff went on to successfully start her own Art Deco Ceramics.
The Colors are purples, greens, pinks & yellows all Painted by Hand.
It is finished with a semi matte crackle glaze.
The bottom is pink which dates it to 1934 - 1937.
The Model # 208 /V Pattern (also called Leo the Lion) is Truda Carter Mark.
The other mark is for the Paintress, Clarice Heath Cliff.
I have neer seen a Piece of Traditional Poole Pottery, from the 1930s, in Perfect Shape and the Painting is Flawless.
It measures 4.5 inchs wide at the belly x 4 inches at the shoulders x 3.18 inches mouth x 3.5 inches tall. 11cm wide at the belly x 10cm at the shoulders x 8cm mouth x 9cm tall.
Beautiful during Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
This piece I've owned for 25 years and stored in a glass cabinet.
It's Perfect & Rare.
It is a great Poole Pottery Addition to a Collection or Museum. See less
