( Pierre Yves Hervy-Vaillant French Born, 1955-2017) The Veil of Veronica is a hand-torn print of the mystery of Saint Veronica and the heavenly host above her. Encased in a wooden frame, the image is wrapped in multiple layers of transparent tape, creating a layer of amber over the chamber inside the frame holding the image. A modern object of veneration encased in a shadowy modern shrine. The measurements are 13.5" by 17" and 1" thick. No signature. Acquired from the artist's estate. See less
