Designed by Ernest Swarts and O.B. Solie for Lane, it is one of their most renown lines produced - the "Tuxedo" series in the 1960s with this one being a first year production (1960) Large at 42" tall, 18" deep and 56" wide. This tall boy comprises Walnut with Rosewood inlays and black bowtie metal pulls with a brushed front. This is much harder model from the series to come by and does not come up for sale too often. Boasts incredible storage with a sophisticated and modern appearance. Beyond some surface marks to the top, this piece is in very good original condition and has had one owner. We refinished the pulls, but nothing else was required. Drawers are clean, and the surface marks to the top are minimal. Original finish present. Quality storage Gentleman's Chest. Signed on back and to drawer.
