4’ 7” x 6’ 11” Early 20th century Persian Bidjar area rug with a medallion design in a floral geometric … Read more 4’ 7” x 6’ 11” Early 20th century Persian Bidjar area rug with a medallion design in a floral geometric pattern in red, French blue, and navy blue, green, yellow colors. The rug has a combination of an abrash French blue and rich red field colors. The Bidjar rug has a very unique and beautiful large central medallion in a navy blue background with floral forms in pale yellow, green, pink, blue, and brown. The corner spandrels are in an abrash navy blue. The border is in French blue with design elements in blue, pink, yellow, and green. The rug has a very short pile considering it is over 100 years old but still very beautiful and elegant.
