31” x 33” This African handwoven tapestry is a beautiful tribal art created by the artisans in the Kingdom of Lesotho, Africa. The African handwoven mohair Tapestry depicts an antelope standing at the edge of the pond and looking at its reflection in the pond. The use of the handspun fine mohair wool and natural vegetable dyes shows in the quality effort in creating this small tapestry. The tapestry has sleeves hand stitched to the back for insertion of tapestry rod for hanging on the wall. An excellent example of the art of the African weavers.
