Vintage Matte Ceramiche Barettoni Melon plates made in Nove, Italy. Marked on the back with the noted maker's historical mark. These charming wedge shaped plates have the most luxuriously satin matte glaze. They have been painted to resemble a golden melon with seeds, and have a 3-dimensional sculpted melon on the ends.
The Ceramiche Barettoni has been around since the mid 17th century.
