Very fine antique/vintage home decor piece from France. We believe this is first half 20thC, by a maker named Ede.
Attractive tin tole cache pot planter or jardiniere having three oval sections, stacked within each other, resting on ball feet and finished with lion head ring handles. The planter is hand painted, having a rich red ground accented by the black Greek key pattern.
Measures 10.5"x 7.75"x 9.5". In age/use appropriate condition with minor handling wear. No dents or holes. Marked with a hand painted "Ede" to the foot, undated.
