It consists of six panels constructed into two parts of three. They are made of a light wood, most likely cypress, with a warm red-brown finish. On one side, the panels are decorated with incised and painted images of blossoms, birds, and objects of study. The other side is plain in contrast, the wood having a smoother and more glossy surface. Overall, a finely crafted decorative piece.
